Two Full Synthetic CJ-4 Diesel Engine Oil Products Added to SynGard® Fleet Line

new fleet line oil products

SAE 0W-40 and 5W-40 CJ-4 full synthetic fleet engine oils have been added to the SynGard™ line of fleet engine oils. These all climate, all season fleet engine oils use state-of-the-art API CJ-4, CI-4 Plus additive technology set in synthetic base oils for enhanced performance in all climates. Both products offer improved low temperature starting performance, improved fuel mileage and can extend drain intervals. Both products eliminate the need for seasonal switches to lower viscosity oils.

SynGard™ 0W-40 is formulated using synthetic PAO base oils to meet demanding 0w cold crank requirements and offers exceptional low temperature starting performance in the coldest climates. SynGard™ 5W-40 is formulated with full synthetic base stocks to meet 5W cold cranking requirements. Both oils offer full SAE 40 protection at operating temperatures and meet OEM specifications for over-the-road, agricultural, logging, and industrial engines. Both are approved for ULSD fuels and 2009 and newer engines with ACERT technology, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and diesel particulate filters. These products are a significant upgrade over all earlier API service ratings and offer mileage and low temperature performance enhancements not found in conventional fleet engine oils.

SynGard® ATF Line Updated

automatic transmission fluids

Two new synthetic automatic transmission fluids have been added to the SynGard® line. SynGard® TorqueGard®TES 295 is a PAO based transmission fluid for Allison heavy duty transmissions requiring TES 295, 398, C-4 or C-3 fluids. Allison HD automatic transmissions are commonly used in heavy duty pickup trucks, ambulances, bob tail trucks, busses, city service vehicles and other medium duty vehicles with automatic transmissions.

SynGard® Global CVT Fluid is formulated for use in the newest passenger cars utilizing fuel efficient continuously variable transmissions. This fluid will service virtually all CVT equipped vehicles, both belt and chain drive, with engines 3.5L and smaller.

SynGard® Global ATF is a multi-purpose ATF that services all vehicles requiring Dexron® VI or any earlier version of Dexron®, Ford Mercon® V, LS or LV and any earlier version of Mercon® and Chrysler ATF+4, 7176 or any earlier version of ATF+.

These three SynGard® ATF’s will service virtually any passenger car, SUV, pickup, medium duty pickup, heavy duty pickup, delivery truck or service vehicle sold in North America, eliminating the need for service shops to stock numerous, special use ATF’s.
