Grease
In
the 1850’s Col. Edwin Drake used a combination of timing and luck to get the
first search under way for oil. His
find changed the future of lubricants from the mutton and beef fats that were
used on chariots as early as 1400 B.C. to a technical process know today as
grease.
Cross Oil Refining & Marketing understands that today’s grease formulations are
not a combination of timing and luck in the way of Col. Drake, but involve a
significant amount of technology – including the chemical make up of the base
oils used to manufacture these lubricants.
Cross produces naphthenic oils which are refined
from 100% US
crude sources. We produce a full range of viscosities from 2.5 to 630 CST @ 40
C, which are highly refined and meet IP-346 requirements for cleanliness and
safety. So whether you need
a high flash point or better pump ability, a high dropping point or low pour
points, Cross Oil has an oil to fit your needs.
